Sales Agent – Travel Experience Designer

About the role

A premium all-inclusive holiday operator, founded in 1950 and offering nearly 80 ski and sun resorts across Europe, Asia, Africa, America and the Caribbean as well as a luxury all-inclusive cruise, is hiring a Sales Agent (Travel Experience Designer) in Antwerp. You will work within the EAF Markets business unit, which covers sales in Europe, Africa and France in more than ten countries. The position is permanent, 38 hours per week including some Saturdays.

Key responsibilities

• Help agents make their own bookings on the Travel Agent website and handle bookings yourself.
• Contribute your expertise to meet sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Welcome clients with a premium attitude and build a personalised, lasting relationship, following them through the sales process.
• Understand clients' expectations and motivations and recommend tailor-made trips.
• Enhance destinations, products and the overall guest experience.
• Grow your turnover by recruiting and retaining clients and selling additional services.
• Spot business opportunities such as M&E, partnerships, sponsorship, influencer and recommendation deals.
• Keep up to date with commercial data: customer files, data capture and complaint tracking.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of the travel and tourism industry.
• Dutch is mandatory; French is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Passionate about travel, team player and customer oriented.
• Argumentative skills and good oral and written communication.
