SaaS Support Engineer Internship

About the role

3E is looking for a SaaS Support Engineer intern to join its Customer Support department in Brussels. The internship is full-time and hybrid, and focuses on keeping the SynaptiQ platform running smoothly while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The intern provides first-level client support, helps with onboarding and assists in developing new features.

Key responsibilities

• Handle first-level support tickets, solve technical issues and escalate complex problems to the Senior SaaS Engineer team
• Help deploy assets into the SynaptiQ platform and guide clients on equipment installation
• Translate client needs into technical solutions and support the helpdesk and ticketing system
• Give input on the development and maintenance of the SynaptiQ platform and configure new features under supervision
• Test new features and updates, report bugs and help resolve them
• Propose and implement improvements or automation of internal tools and processes
• Stay up to date with SaaS technologies and continuously improve your skills

Required profile

• Enrolled in an Engineering degree (renewable energy, mechanical, electrical engineering or related) or recently graduated
• Full proficiency in English
• Analytical skills to analyse data flows (FTP, API, SQL data collectors, UI dashboards)
• Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude and customer-oriented mindset
• Curious and interested in SaaS products

Bonus points

• Knowledge of French and/or Dutch
• Familiarity with JavaScript, Python or VBA
• Knowledge of databases and operating systems, and experience with MySQL or other relational databases
