Remote Support Engineer – Patient Monitoring

About the role

Responsible for servicing and installing professional Philips healthcare patient‑monitoring equipment while maximizing customer satisfaction. The role combines remote desk support with on‑site installation and integration activities.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the Remote Support Desk team and provide tier‑1 assistance.
• Install Philips Patient Monitoring equipment (IntelliVue, Fetal monitors, central monitoring, telemetry, etc.) according to quality and time standards.
• Integrate monitoring devices into Philips‑supplied or customer‑supplied clinical networks and connect to third‑party systems such as HIS (HL7), telephony and alarm systems.
• Perform corrective maintenance, planned maintenance, and equipment modifications, supported by tier‑2 when needed.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and IT infrastructure to ensure real‑time patient data quality.
• Submit accurate service data, job sheets, reports and expense claims.
• Provide feedback to commercial teams and keep abreast of new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT engineering.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
• Pro‑active, customer‑oriented attitude with willingness to work 24×7 shifts.
• Occasional travel to client sites for installations.

Required skills

• Experience with Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022/2025 operating systems.
• SQL knowledge, AV, OS patching and security certificates handling.
• Understanding of local Wi‑Fi networks and basic virtualization concepts.
• Familiarity with HL7 messaging (desirable).
• Extensive knowledge of patient‑monitoring systems and healthcare IT environments.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of complex technical systems.
