Regional Security Director EMEA

About the role

The Regional Security Director for EMEA will develop and implement security strategies across Europe, the Middle East and Africa for Johnson & Johnson. Reporting to the Senior Director Global Security Operations, this leader will protect people, assets and facilities while supporting crisis response and employee safety.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute physical security strategies, programs and policies (≈20% of time).
• Lead crisis response and provide employee support during incidents (≈30%).
• Manage a team of sub‑regional security leads, analysts and a technology advisor (≈15%).
• Conduct investigations into security incidents (≈10%).
• Liaise with legal, HR, IT, Quality, Facilities and other risk functions (≈15%).
• Support executive committee visits and high‑profile events (≈10%).
• Prepare regular security threat and risk briefings for regional leadership.
• Establish relationships with local law enforcement and external security partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading security teams in a multinational environment.
• Strong background in crisis management and incident response.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional leaders such as Legal, HR, IT and Facilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to represent the company with external authorities.
