Loss Prevention Supervisor

About the role

The Loss Prevention Supervisor supports the Director of Security in creating a safe and secure environment for employees and guests at a hotel. The role combines safety education, enforcement of standards, and profit protection.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Loss Prevention in daily department functions to protect property, assets, employees and guests.
• Maintain required logs, certifications and documents in accordance with law and SOPs.
• Train staff on emergency, accident and fire‑prevention procedures.
• Handle complaints, disputes and grievances, and report procedure violations.
• Supervise Loss Prevention staff, monitor property assets and act as Director in their absence.
• Provide personal assistance, medical attention and emotional support to coworkers and guests.
• Communicate safety procedures, ensure employee understanding and monitor compliance.
• Report employee accidents and guest liability incidents promptly.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience as a Loss Prevention Supervisor in a hotel, preferably four‑diamond or higher.
• First Aid/CPR Instructor certification.
• Basic computer knowledge with Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings and holidays.
