Real World Evidence Consultant – Belgium

About the role

Alsinova is seeking an experienced Real World Evidence Consultant to support its pharmaceutical and biotech clients in Belgium. You will work on observational studies, health outcomes research, and data‑driven projects, ensuring high‑quality statistical outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Support statistical programming activities for Real World Evidence projects.
• Provide input on study design and analysis plans.
• Review study concepts, protocols, and analysis documents.
• Evaluate database quality and suitability for analysis.
• Develop, validate, and document SAS analysis programs, tables, charts, and metadata.
• Produce efficient statistical outputs following standard practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of SAS programming experience.
• 2+ years in Real World Evidence, epidemiology, or health outcomes.
• Experience with large healthcare databases such as CPRD or IBM MarketScan.
• Strong understanding of study design, observational endpoints, and epidemiological methods.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Required skills

• SAS programming.
• R programming (optional but preferred).
• Propensity score matching techniques.
• Knowledge of CPRD and IBM MarketScan databases.
• Statistical programming for epidemiological analyses.
