Quality Specialist

About the role

As a Quality Specialist you will support a market‑leading food company in ensuring product quality, safety and compliance. Working as a MindCapture consultant, you will evaluate specifications, guide suppliers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and validate product specifications and recipes for private‑label products.
• Ensure product quality, safety and compliance with relevant legislation.
• Support internal quality policies for new and updated products.
• Select suppliers based on defined criteria and communicate quality requirements.
• Review nutritional, ingredient, sustainability, sensory, performance and safety aspects.
• Organise and follow up product tastings and testing activities.
• Process and analyse testing results to inform quality decisions.
• Assist with ad‑hoc projects within the quality department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry or a related scientific field.
• At least one year of quality experience in the food industry.
• Knowledge of food legislation and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Fluent in Dutch or French; basic English proficiency.
