Project Manager

About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for an experienced Project Manager in Zaventem, Belgium. You will lead complex projects from initiation through completion, making sure objectives, timelines, budgets and quality expectations are met. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams to coordinate resources, manage risks and drive successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables with key stakeholders
• Develop project plans, schedules, resource strategies and budget estimates
• Lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation actions
• Manage project budgets and ensure strong financial performance
• Communicate status, milestones and challenges to stakeholders and leadership
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality requirements
• Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience managing complex projects in an industrial, technology or infrastructure environment
• Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, budget and schedule
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Effective problem-solver able to manage competing priorities
