Project Manager

About the role

Nexeo is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead transformation projects for a leading financial institution in Belgium. You will work in a consultancy environment that supports banking, finance and insurance clients throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead one or several projects from initiation to delivery, defining objectives with management and key stakeholders.
• Plan, budget, allocate resources and estimate effort, coordinating staffing and subcontracting when needed.
• Establish and improve project governance within the Marketing & Communications department and promote best practices.
• Monitor scope, timelines, quality, costs and deliverables; identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies.
• Act as the main liaison between business teams, suppliers and external partners, preparing regular progress reports and presenting updates.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, governance rules and operational risk requirements, and guarantee proper hand‑over to operational teams.
• Functionally manage project teams, foster collaboration and support Agile ways of working.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; Project Management certifications are a strong asset.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in fast‑evolving, complex environments.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale projects in the banking, finance or insurance sector.
• Strong background in Agile environments and experience with Marketing & Communications projects.
