Project Engineer Maintenance

About the role

Vulcain Engineering Belgium is seeking a Project Engineer specialized in Maintenance to support nuclear activities at the Tihange site. You will ensure that repair and replacement work complies with regulatory quality standards and that all documentation meets the expectations of safety authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Define regulatory quality requirements for assigned activities and guarantee process compliance.
• Consolidate and manage quality dossiers for repair/replacement projects, including welding and NDT documentation.
• Present dossiers to inspectors and obtain certificates of conformity signed by the safety authority.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date database of all repair/replacement quality dossiers you handle.

Required profile

• Technical degree or equivalent industrial technical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the nuclear industry.
• Proven experience in quality control, dossier preparation, and verification as a quality inspector.
• Knowledge of various Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) methods.
• Familiarity with mechanical construction codes such as ASME.
