Program Manager – Cards

About the role

Capco, a global business and technology consultancy for financial services, is looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead the business delivery of a complex cards program. You will work with business leaders, technology teams and external partners across an international banking group, combining a strategic view with disciplined execution. The role is hybrid, based in Brussels with regular travel to Paris for program and stakeholder meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated program plans, aligning milestones, dependencies and delivery priorities across workstreams.
• Establish and manage program governance, including decision-making, escalation and reporting processes.
• Prepare and lead program boards and steering committees, presenting progress, risks and decisions.
• Manage relationships with business and IT stakeholders, international group teams and external suppliers.
• Monitor delivery against scope, timelines and objectives, and coordinate actions to address delays or changing priorities.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and cross-project dependencies.
• Coordinate capacity planning and resource allocation, and manage program budgets and business cases.
• Lead and motivate contributors, maintaining clear accountability and a shared focus on outcomes.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of relevant experience, including responsibility for complex projects or programs with multiple workstreams.
• Master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience managing governance, senior stakeholders, budgets, resources, risks and delivery dependencies.
• Strong written and spoken English, plus professional proficiency in French or Dutch; knowledge of both is an advantage.
• Experience in the cards business, including card issuing or processing systems, is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Project and program management methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2 or PMBOK.
• Planning and reporting tools such as Clarity or MS Project.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT systems and workflow processes.
