About the role

As a Product Developer – Beverages you will support the prototyping and sensory evaluation of innovative beverage concepts. Working in a laboratory environment, you will help drive the creation of new‑to‑company and new‑to‑world beverage ingredients while ensuring safe and efficient lab operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Screen and evaluate ingredients according to defined processes, documenting results in the team’s cloud storage.
  • Liaise with approved suppliers to obtain product application information.
  • Execute laboratory product development trials under supervision to improve sensory profile, cost efficiency, flavor stability and scalability.
  • Prepare and produce beverage prototypes for internal and external evaluations.
  • Organise research pilot brewery trials, including safety inductions, trial requests, ingredient deliveries and coordination with technicians.
  • Manage receipt, unpacking, storage and shipment of lab materials and project packages.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of lab storage areas and support 5S implementation.
  • Perform equipment maintenance, calibration and order utilities and consumables.
  • Conduct physico‑chemical analyses of prototypes following standard procedures.
  • Identify, test and implement new analytical methods and coordinate external testing.
  • Organise and document sensory evaluations and taste panels.
  • Coordinate shipments of prototypes and ingredients to stakeholders.
  • Track competitor and adjacent category product launches globally and upload sensory data to the internal database.

Required profile

  • Professional Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Laboratory Science or a related field.
  • Experience working in a laboratory environment with a focus on food or beverage development.
  • Strong attention to safety, documentation and organisational standards.
