Procurement Lead – Precision High-Tech Manufacturing

About the role

Join Xeryon, a fast‑growing Belgian high‑tech company, as the Procurement Lead in Kessel-Lo (Leuven). You will be the operational engine that keeps the precision piezo‑motor production line running smoothly while driving cost competitiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Translate procurement strategy into daily actions to achieve near‑100% on‑time delivery.
• Serve as the first point of contact for supplier quality escalations, minimizing production downtime.
• Collaborate with engineers and suppliers on design‑to‑cost initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership.
• Monitor and report supplier delivery performance with a focus on uninterrupted manufacturing.
• Manage the full cost cycle using the company’s ERP system, ensuring accurate data for production planning.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of hands‑on procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical understanding of components and ability to discuss design optimisations with R&D and suppliers.
• Firm but fair negotiator with excellent communication skills and calm under pressure.
• Proactive “do‑er” who prefers action over endless meetings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience with Odoo (highly advantageous).
