Procurement Expert – Complex Public Procurement

About the role

The Procurement service ensures that all purchases are carried out professionally and in full compliance with public procurement regulations. As a Procurement Expert you will focus on complex procurement files where the public procurement rules fully apply, while also handling less complex cases when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse purchase requests from various business units and determine required actions.
• Centralise and evaluate information, draft tender documents (administrative and limited technical parts), and manage the e‑procurement platform.
• Oversee the selection and award phases, attend negotiations, conclude contracts and ensure proper administrative follow‑up.
• Verify data accuracy, conduct additional research, and maintain records in the ERP system.
• Monitor invoicing, approvals, bank guarantees, deposits and contract execution in collaboration with internal customers.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, tenderers and contractors, providing support and answering queries.
• Assist the procurement management team with decision preparation, budget tracking and reporting.

Required profile

• Ability to work under supervision and collaborate with purchasers and legal experts.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to internal procedures and reporting requirements.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage complex files efficiently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with e‑procurement platforms.
• Experience using ERP systems for data entry and management.
