Pricing & Commercial Manager

About the role

The Pricing & Commercial Manager will lead the pricing strategy and commercial architecture for bpost’s parcel portfolio, focusing on the fast‑growing B2B segment. Reporting to the Cluster Head – Bid & Commercial Management, you will work closely with product teams, sales and finance to ensure profitable growth while maintaining compliance and market competitiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end pricing for the assigned parcels portfolio, from pilot pricing to scalable structural pricing.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and squads to understand solution value and translate it into price models.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and position bpost’s offerings strategically.
• Evaluate price requests and derogations, providing profitability analysis and clear recommendations.
• Design and structure complex commercial deals, including margin steering, risk‑aware concessions and pricing guardrails.
• Develop quoting tools and ensure pricing logic is documented and integrated into commercial systems.
• Support sales teams with rapid, consistent, and profitable quoting processes.

Required profile

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to price based on value rather than cost‑plus.
• Experience in deal structuring, margin management and risk assessment.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with product, sales and finance teams.
• Analytical mindset and proficiency in interpreting market data.
