About the role
ASAPA, a beverage manufacturing facility in Charleroi, is seeking an experienced PLC Engineer on a freelance basis to support machine upgrades and automation improvements across its high‑speed production and packaging lines. The role is fully onsite and focuses on maintaining and enhancing the plant’s automated environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and optimise PLC software for production and packaging equipment.
- Support commissioning, testing and integration of new automated machinery.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI and control‑system faults in live production settings.
- Collaborate closely with electrical and maintenance teams during project execution.
Required profile
- Proven experience with Siemens or Rockwell PLC platforms.
- Strong background in troubleshooting and commissioning automation equipment.
- Previous work in FMCG, beverage or packaging environments.
- Ability to operate safely within live production lines.
- Fluent French is mandatory.
