Part-time Accountant – Flexible Remote Option

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time accountant to support our fast‑growing, fully digitalised finance department in the heart of Brussels. This position offers a flexible schedule, the possibility to work remotely, and the chance to become the right‑hand of the Finance Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate the automated entry of supplier invoices.
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
• Process payroll journal entries and ensure accurate payroll reporting.
• Execute vendor payments and manage related documentation.
• Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns.
• Serve as a point of contact for external stakeholders such as auditors and the accounting firm.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable accounting role.
• Fluent in French or Dutch, with at least B2 proficiency in the other language.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Odoo ERP system (preferred).
