About the role

Griffith Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician (EUBE) to ensure that production equipment and infrastructure operate safely, efficiently, and without unplanned downtime. The role combines preventive upkeep, rapid fault resolution, and support for new installations within a food‑production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to a defined plan, inspecting machines for wear, defects, and deviations.
• Replace parts proactively to avoid breakdowns and keep equipment running.
• Diagnose, analyse, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic faults, minimizing production interruptions.
• Install, test and commission new machinery and plant installations.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM, 5S and other optimisation projects.
• Record all maintenance activities in the CMMS, report incidents, material usage and downtime.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation and adhere to safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, ATEX).

Required profile

• Technical diploma in electromechanics, electricity, mechanics or a related field.
• First experience as a maintenance technician is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Basic familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electricity and basic PLC concepts.
• Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical plans and schematics.
• Basic use of a CMMS for work order tracking.
