Office Manager (Ghent)

About the role

ATB Therapeutics, a biotech company developing targeted therapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases, is looking for an Office Manager to support its Ghent site. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and vendors, ensuring the office runs smoothly and safely while supporting Finance, HR, and IT functions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily office operations, including reception, maintenance, vendor coordination, and supplies management.
• Organise IT equipment procurement, setup for new hires, and manage email/software access with the IT partner.
• Assist Finance with routine accounting entries, invoice validation, purchase‑order tracking, and basic cash‑flow monitoring.
• Draft and publish official announcements and internal communications.
• Plan and execute internal events, off‑sites, travel arrangements, and catering.
• Coordinate first‑aid and fire‑safety trainings, maintain safety supplies, and ensure compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; office/facilities management training is a plus.
• Proven experience in a similar international role, preferably across multiple locations.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a plus.
• Strong communication, organisational, and multitasking abilities.
• Discreet, reliable, adaptable and able to manage projects independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
• Basic IT troubleshooting and coordination.
• Vendor management and budget monitoring.
• Familiarity with procurement systems (preferred).
