Night Shift Process Operator

About the role

As a Night Shift Process Operator at DESOTEC, you will oversee the production of high‑quality reactivated carbon using advanced reactivation furnaces. Working from the control room, you will ensure continuous, safe, and environmentally compliant operation during night hours.

Key responsibilities

• Start, operate, and monitor 4‑5 reactivation furnaces via computer interfaces.
• Adjust process parameters for optimal output and respond to alarms.
• Analyze and troubleshoot process‑related malfunctions; perform minor maintenance and secure installations with LOTO for major interventions.
• Handle logistics: move and fill large bags with a forklift and collect daily samples.
• Record production data accurately in ERP and Excel.
• Monitor environmental permit conditions, wear appropriate PPE, and maintain a clean work environment.
