Mobile Phone Test Engineer

About the role

The Mobile Phone Test Engineer will lead localization testing for mobile devices in assigned regions, ensuring that products meet regional performance and quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with R&D teams and on‑site support for users.

Key responsibilities

• Independently conduct localization testing in the designated region.
• Execute test cases efficiently and deliver accurate, reliable test results.
• Track, investigate, and close issues identified during testing.
• Work with R&D to debug regional or probabilistic problems, capturing detailed log information.
• Provide on‑site assistance to resolve regional user issues.
• Write and improve region‑specific test case documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in communication systems or a related field.
• Fluent in English (or local language) and Chinese for domestic communication.
• Knowledge of localized network structures, operator information, and related network data.
• Familiarity with Android operating system and basic testing methodologies.
• Prior experience in mobile localization testing is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ADB (Android Debug Bridge).
• Experience using QXDM or similar debugging tools.
• Understanding of Android system architecture.
• Ability to use various debugging tools for mobile devices.
