Mid-Senior Swift Developer – Brussels

About the role

Optisuite is looking for a Mid‑Senior Swift Developer to join its Brussels office. You will design, develop and maintain high‑quality iOS applications that power the next generation of optical retail tools. The role combines hands‑on coding with collaboration across product, design and back‑end teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new features for iOS apps using Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Integrate back‑end services and third‑party ERP APIs via OAuth2 and RESTful endpoints.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases, including ARKit/RealityKit components.
• Write unit and UI tests with XCTest and SwiftUI Tests to ensure reliability.
• Profile, debug and optimise app performance using Xcode Instruments.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to best‑practice guidelines.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong foundation in computer science and object‑oriented programming.
• Experience delivering SaaS products, preferably in optical or retail technology.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and share knowledge with less‑experienced colleagues.

Required skills

• Swift (Swift 5) and SwiftUI.
• UIKit, ARKit, RealityKit.
• Swift Package Manager for dependency management.
• Xcode, Instruments and App Store submission process.
• XCTest and SwiftUI Tests for unit/UI testing.
• API integration, OAuth2 authentication flows.
