Membership Development Manager

About the role

Join Fibre Council Europe as a Membership Development Manager and lead the growth of our membership base. You will work within a dynamic international team to define and implement membership policies, enhance member engagement, and attract new members.

Key responsibilities

• Define membership policy in line with the Council’s overall strategy and report to the Director General.
• Manage relationships with existing members to maximise engagement and satisfaction.
• Develop and promote monetised services such as sponsorship of newsletters, publications and webinars.
• Design and execute recruitment campaigns, manage prospect relations and oversee the member engagement platform.
• Support the Fibre Horizons Conference by assisting members with workshop development and managing the Fibre Awards process.
• Assist Accounting and Finance with membership fee credit control and provide secretariat support for Board meetings and General Assemblies.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business administration or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role or in promoting professional services.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English; additional European language skills are a plus.
• Strong communication, service orientation, autonomy, organisation and integrity.
• EU permanent work permit.

Required skills

• Experience with membership engagement platforms or similar IT tools.
• Ability to develop and manage sponsorship and monetisation initiatives.
