Membership & Community Manager

About the role

Event Confederation is seeking a Membership & Community Manager to support its Daily Office team from September 1, 2026. The role focuses on nurturing relationships with basic and cluster members across Belgium’s event sector, ensuring smooth operations and growth of the community.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for all members, handling inquiries and support.
• Coordinate and prepare cluster operations, both substantively and practically.
• Develop and contribute to training programs for clusters and the wider sector.
• Prepare the academy offering, aligning it with member needs and strategic priorities.
• Organise networking events such as New Year’s Drinks together with the Daily Office team.
• Assist with member retention initiatives and targeted prospecting.

Required profile

• Strong connector who enjoys interacting with people.
• Structured, independent work style while thriving in collaborative settings.
• Comfortable speaking in front of audiences.
• Interest in the event sector and a desire to strengthen it.
• Bilingual in Dutch and French with excellent English proficiency.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented, and flexible attitude.
• At least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• Valid Category B driver’s license.
