Medical Advisor – Medical Affairs

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Affairs professional to join a leading pharmaceutical partner. The Medical Advisor will translate scientific insights into meaningful outcomes for patients and healthcare professionals, supporting new product launches and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive cross‑functional collaboration to align strategic priorities and medical content.
• Engage physicians as partners, gathering insights and supporting their continuous education.
• Own dedicated projects from initiation through successful delivery, keeping internal stakeholders informed.
• Support pharmacist engagement and patient‑centered education initiatives.
• Provide medical expertise across the organization, strengthen customer interactions, and review promotional materials.
• Contribute to the training of sales representatives and other medical colleagues.
• Develop and maintain in‑depth product, therapeutic area, and treatment landscape knowledge.
• Respond to unsolicited scientific questions and contribute to educational meetings.
• Organise advisory board meetings, develop scientific slide decks, abstracts, posters and manuscripts.
• Build and maintain collaborations with key opinion leaders, professional societies, and support medical congresses.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong scientific background with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Strategic thinker with excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Fluent in French; bilingual French/Dutch is a plus.
• Ability to engage healthcare professionals and lead projects independently.
