Manager – Cost & Profitability

About the role

KPMG Belgium’s CFO Advisory team is seeking a Manager to lead its Cost & Profitability Management practice. You will work directly with CFOs and CEOs, helping organisations improve cost efficiency, pricing strategies and financial transparency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end cost and profitability projects, from analysis through implementation.
• Develop and deliver tailored recommendations to optimise cost structures and enhance product and customer profitability.
• Apply best‑practice cost‑modeling, allocation and performance‑analysis techniques.
• Identify growth opportunities and contribute to proposal development and client presentations.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and promote inclusive team dynamics.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technology advances and emerging AI tools relevant to finance and costing.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in financial management consulting (mandatory).
• Proven expertise in cost modelling, allocation methodologies and profitability analysis.
• Experience with finance transformation, process improvement and change management.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail in financial reporting.
• Fluent in English and either Dutch or French (written and spoken).
• Comfortable discussing AI concepts with clients and colleagues.
