Maintenance Technician

About the role

GC Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to be technically responsible for maintaining and improving the entire machine park at its European headquarters in Leuven. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of production installations and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise production installations with emphasis on preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Update technical schematics and develop internal preventive maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team on implementation, installation, and commissioning of equipment.
• Act as primary contact for technical breakdowns, performing root‑cause analysis of mechanical, electrical, or PLC issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by analysing operator feedback, PLC programs and implementing efficiency enhancements.
• Report to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager and work closely with production supervisors, operators and fellow technicians.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics or equivalent, preferably with automation focus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in preventive, corrective maintenance and troubleshooting in an industrial production environment.
• Proactive, punctual, independent, responsible, perseverant and detail‑oriented.
