M&A Advisory Manager

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Manager to join its M&A Advisory team within the Deals & Strategy practice. The role supports clients throughout the full lifecycle of mergers and acquisitions, from strategic option assessment to deal execution and closing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support transaction execution workstreams, including preparation of high‑quality documentation, due‑diligence coordination, financial modelling, and valuation activities.
• Develop pitch materials and contribute to strategic client discussions by mapping M&A markets, identifying targets, and gathering market intelligence.
• Assist senior leadership with origination efforts and help grow the firm’s deal pipeline.
• Mentor junior team members and uphold high standards in both origination and execution.
• Build and maintain relationships with C‑level client stakeholders, becoming a trusted point of contact.

Required profile

• Master’s degree and a minimum of six years of relevant M&A experience.
• Hands‑on experience with both sell‑side and buy‑side transactions.
• Strong analytical abilities and a collaborative mindset.
