About the role
Grant Thornton is seeking a Legal Manager – Social Law to strengthen its Social Law practice in Brussels and Wallonia. You will act as a trusted advisor to Belgian and international organisations, combining deep expertise in social law with a strong client focus and a drive for business development.
Key responsibilities
- Advise clients on Social Law, social security, cross‑border employment and international mobility matters.
- Manage complex advisory projects such as restructurings, social audits, inspections, payroll implementations and HR policy development.
- Draft, review and support implementation of employment contracts, work regulations and internal policies.
- Develop existing client relationships and identify new opportunities across Grant Thornton’s service lines.
- Represent the firm at seminars, conferences and networking events.
- Collaborate with Tax, Audit, Advisory, Payroll and other legal colleagues to deliver integrated solutions.
- Coach junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Law, preferably specialised in Social Law.
- Minimum six years of experience in social law, either in a law firm, consultancy or in‑house environment.
- Strong expertise in social security and international employment matters.
- Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine interest in business development.
