Legal, Governance & Regulatory Internship

About the role

Euroclear is seeking enthusiastic students to join its Legal, Governance & Regulatory (LG&R) Division in Brussels. This internship offers a unique entry point into the financial sector, providing hands‑on experience with legal and regulatory matters that support the company’s global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and perform applicability assessments of relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist in impact analysis and advise business units on corporate governance and regulatory issues.
• Draft, review, and update contracts and other legal documentation.
• Organise management and board meetings, including preparation of minutes and supporting materials.
• Support reporting activities to senior management and supervisory authorities.

Required profile

• Active student (Bachelor or Master) in International Business Law, Competition Law, Banking & Financial Law, Corporate Governance, IP & IT Law, or related fields.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong interest in the financial industry and emerging technologies.
• Good analytical, research, drafting and communication skills.
• Team‑player who can also work independently and handle pressure.
