Legal Counsel Intern – Finance Support

About the role

Join Avertim’s Finance department as a Legal Counsel Intern and support legal matters across commercial contracts and HR topics in four European countries. You will work closely with the Finance Director and gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Perform risk analysis of contracts with clients, contractors and suppliers and provide inputs for negotiations.
• Assess existing procedures for compliance with GDPR, anti‑corruption, health & safety, anti‑fraud and other legal requirements.
• Recommend corrective measures and support implementation to ensure compliance.
• Assist the HR Administration team with labour‑law matters in Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
• Contribute to internal‑control improvement by creating up‑to‑date legal process documentation.

Required profile

• Gap year or M2 Business School student with a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Law, specialised in Corporate Law.
• Excellent oral and written communication in French and English; Dutch or German are a plus.
• Team spirit, autonomy, creativity and proactivity.

Required skills

• Good computer skills: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
