Lawyer – Investment Funds & ESG

About the role

PwC Legal is seeking a Managing Associate Lawyer to join its Investment Funds & ESG team in Brussels. You will work within a multidisciplinary group of lawyers and consultants, providing end‑to‑end legal solutions for clients operating in the investment funds and sustainability space.

Key responsibilities

• Navigate complex investment‑funds regulations and advise on all aspects of fund transactions.
• Provide ESG and sustainability guidance across real‑estate, private‑equity, and financing deals.
• Collaborate with business‑law, tax, M&A, and public‑law specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support clients in incorporating ESG objectives into policies, stakeholder dialogues, and corporate governance.
• Assist with compliance, risk management, and director liability matters related to ESG initiatives.

Required profile

• Belgian Master’s degree in law (LL.M. advantageous).
• 4–7 years of experience in financial law, preferably within a law firm, financial institution, or international organization.
• Experience with investment‑funds regulation and/or ESG/sustainability matters is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex legal issues and present pragmatic solutions.
