LA&S Calculations Designer – Electrical Infrastructure

About the role

We are a Belgian engineering consultancy supporting SMEs and large industrial organisations in turning innovation and R&D projects into reality. The LA&S Calculations Designer will create lattice structures for high‑voltage power line projects (380 kV to 36 kV) under the guidance of a design engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Design new lattice structures for electrical infrastructure projects.
• Develop and detail reinforcement plans.
• Prepare complete production dossiers.
• Support suppliers and internal teams in solving execution issues.
• Report progress to experts, managers and internal clients.
• Utilise 3D design tools (Tekla Structures and/or AutoCAD) and Excel for calculations.

Required profile

• Fundamental understanding of 3D modelling.
• Basic education or proven experience as a draftsman; experience with Tekla Structures is mandatory.
• Critical self‑control and attention to detail.
• Experience or knowledge of the steel sector is a plus.
• Familiarity with related software such as MicroStation or AutoCAD 3D.
• Native Dutch and/or French; additional language skills are advantageous.
