Director, Forma Design Industry Strategy

About the role

Autodesk is building the Forma Industry Cloud, a next‑generation solution that transforms how the built environment is designed, delivered and operated. The Director, Forma Design Industry Strategy will define the strategy and go‑to‑market direction for the Forma design applications portfolio, shaping product, pricing and adoption across the architecture, engineering, construction and operations ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategy and go‑to‑market plan for Forma design applications, identifying investment, differentiation and growth opportunities.
• Leverage qualitative and quantitative data, including AI‑enabled tools, to translate market, customer and competitive signals into clear strategic recommendations.
• Guide decisions on pricing, packaging and portfolio clarity to ensure customers understand the value of Forma across planning, design and delivery.
• Partner with product, sales, marketing, customer success and industry leadership to align strategy, roadmap and execution.
• Act as a strategic evangelist for the Forma Industry Cloud, representing the portfolio externally with customers, partners and at industry events.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in strategy, go‑to‑market, product or management consulting, with significant exposure to the AEC industry.
• Proven track record of leading teams and shaping strategy that delivers measurable business results.
• Deep understanding of AEC workflows and digital transformation opportunities across the built environment lifecycle.
• Experience representing a product or company externally with customers, analysts and at industry events.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, strategy, architecture, engineering, construction management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
