Junior Software Engineer (C#.NET)

About the role

Join Alterface’s young, passionate team of 20 engineers and help create award‑winning interactive attractions for theme parks and location‑based entertainment venues worldwide. As a Junior Software Engineer you will work on the full lifecycle of projects, from specification to on‑site installation, using the proprietary Salto language and Salto™ interactive show‑control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver projects from specification through on‑site installation using Salto and Salto™.
• Manage project planning and execution, including travel for on‑site installations (up to 20% travel, trips lasting up to 3 weeks).
• Design, develop, and maintain unit tests and tooling solutions in C# or C++.
• Produce comprehensive technical and installation documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
• Support software and maintenance teams during on‑site installations.

Required profile

• Creative junior software engineer with a strong interest in interactive media.
• Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
• Willingness to travel internationally for on‑site work.
• Ability to work both independently from home and on‑site in a collaborative environment.
