Junior Product Specialist – Technical Trainer

About the role

As a Junior Product Specialist – Technical Trainer you will become the go‑to expert for a specific product line, supporting Sales Engineers and customers while delivering internal and external technical training. The role is based at the company’s headquarters in Mechelen and involves regular travel across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical training for colleagues and clients.
• Create and maintain support material such as quick reference guides, FAQs, SOPs and information sheets.
• Assist Sales Engineers with product specifications, capabilities and troubleshooting via email, phone, face‑to‑face or video.
• Travel up to 30% of the time to support activities in ten European countries.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in an engineering‑related field or equivalent.
• Business‑level proficiency in English.
• Valid driving licence.
• First experience supporting clients with technical products is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Required skills

• JavaScript (basic knowledge).
• C++ (basic knowledge).
• PLC programming (basic knowledge).
