Junior Healthcare Consultant Internship

About the role

Weber Shandwick’s Health Team in Brussels is seeking a motivated Junior Consultant for a six‑month paid internship. You will support the development and execution of health‑policy communication campaigns across Europe, gaining hands‑on experience in a leading global agency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the team in responding to client requests and contribute to the design and rollout of communication and engagement campaigns.
• Provide media and policy monitoring, background research, analysis and help produce client‑facing materials.
• Support outreach and advocacy programmes, including event organisation within the Brussels policy environment.
• Contribute to marketing and business‑development activities by showcasing the agency’s expertise.

Required profile

• Proactive, dynamic and eager to learn, with a strong interest in EU health policy and communications.
• Good understanding of EU decision‑making processes; experience in an EU institution, NGO or consultancy is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with solid writing abilities and the capacity to research and analyse policy environments.
• Fluent in English; additional EU languages are a plus.
• University degree in political science, public affairs, international relations, health, health policy, law or a related field.
