IT Security Officer - Vulnerability Management

About the role

We are seeking an IT Security Officer who will lead our vulnerability management program. The role involves coordinating the entire vulnerability lifecycle, from discovery through remediation, while ensuring risks are assessed and communicated effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the vulnerability management process across all IT assets.
• Perform vulnerability triage, risk assessments and assign remediation actions.
• Prioritise risks based on business impact and track remediation progress.
• Generate regular reports on vulnerability status and remediation outcomes.
• Collaborate with security monitoring and cyber‑defence teams to integrate findings.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in banking, insurance, financial services or large‑scale environments such as retail or telecom.
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability management and risk assessment methodologies.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Experience with vulnerability scanners such as Tenable or Qualys.
• Familiarity with CVE, CVSS, CWE and EPSS frameworks.
• Understanding of security monitoring and cyber‑defence concepts.
