IT Project Manager – Strategic Digital Transformation

About the role

Nexeo is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead strategic IT and digital transformation initiatives for its clients in banking, finance, insurance, energy and public sectors. You will act as the central coordinator, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget while maintaining strong governance and stakeholder alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end IT projects, defining scope, objectives, planning and resource allocation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, external suppliers and fixed‑price contracts.
• Organise steering committees, produce status reports and executive dashboards.
• Monitor progress, KPIs, risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans.
• Facilitate communication between business sponsors, delivery managers and IT partners.
• Support RFP activities and supplier selection processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager delivering complex projects.
• Strong expertise in project planning, budget, scope, quality and risk management.
• Experience managing external suppliers, fixed‑price contracts and RFP processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Prince2, PMP, PMBOK or equivalent methodologies.
• Experience with Planview or similar PPM tools is a strong asset.
• Background in utilities, infrastructure, smart‑grid or digital transformation projects is a plus.
