About the role

Join the Centre of Expertise Security at BNP Paribas Fortis as an IT & Cyber Risk Specialist. You will be at the heart of the bank’s cybersecurity strategy, translating complex technical risks into actionable business decisions and helping to protect both the organization and its clients.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between technical risk owners, business units, and senior leadership, ensuring risks are identified, analysed and mitigated.
• Conduct proactive risk intelligence activities, covering shadow‑IT, operational vulnerabilities and emerging cyber threats.
• Provide strategic advisory and targeted recommendations to IT and business stakeholders.
• Report risk trends, insights and best practices to the Cyber Security, IT and Business Management teams across the BNP Paribas Group.
• Continuously improve risk‑management processes, tools and methodologies for scalability and efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong ability to break down complex cyber‑risk scenarios into clear, actionable insights for decision‑makers.
• Deep understanding of BNP Paribas Fortis’ business model, functions and strategic objectives.
• Hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure, architecture and security risk management.
• Excellent communication skills to engage technical teams and C‑level executives.
