IT Assistant – eCommerce Operations

About the role

We are looking for an IT Assistant to support our e‑commerce operations. Working closely with the IT Specialist, you will keep our Shopify stores, automation tools and SaaS subscriptions running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Shopify apps: install, configure, test, document and audit on a quarterly basis.
• Build and maintain Shopify Flow automations for order tagging, customer segmentation, inventory alerts and fraud detection.
• Develop and extend Google Apps Script integrations linking Shopify, Google Sheets, Gmail and other tools.
• Work with REST APIs – handling requests, authentication, headers and JSON parsing.
• Manage access rights across all platforms, maintain a central access matrix and enforce security best practices.
• Configure Recharge subscription products, billing cadences and customer‑facing flows, testing end‑to‑end journeys.
• Onboard and offboard employees by provisioning and revoking access to all systems.

• Self‑starter who takes ownership of tasks and sees them through to completion.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple language for non‑technical teammates.

• Automation platforms such as n8n.
• AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for code generation and workflow design.
• Access management tools (e.g., NordPass) and 2FA implementation.
