ISR/IPS Engineer – Railway Signalling

About the role

The Integrated Service Readiness (ISR) / Integrated Product Support (IPS) Engineer ensures railway signalling systems are ready for safe, reliable and maintainable operation throughout their lifecycle. Based in Charleroi, you will work closely with engineering, commissioning, operations and maintenance teams to deliver ISR deliverables for ETCS‑based projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define, develop and manage ISR deliverables such as maintenance plans, life‑cycle cost reports, spare‑parts lists and user manuals.
• Ensure RAMS requirements are addressed from an ISR perspective and coordinate service‑readiness activities across projects.
• Support signalling‑related ISR tasks, including onboard and wayside subsystems, and interface with signalling engineering during design, validation and commissioning.
• Perform risk analysis and contribute to troubleshooting and service‑readiness assessments for signalling equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven ISR/IPS experience on railway systems.
• Experience with ETCS architecture and onboard signalling components such as the European Vital Computer (EVC).
• Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical or related).
