Inventory Accountant

About the role

Join Brunswick, a global marine leader, as an Inventory Accountant supporting the EMEA entities of Brunswick Marine. You will ensure that inventory accounting operations align with company policies and regulatory requirements while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and correct inventory suspended movements and perform inventory valuations and revaluations.
• Prepare revenue recognition entries at month‑end and ensure proper cut‑off.
• Manage cycle‑count processes, perform quarterly and yearly reporting of results, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Execute balance‑sheet reconciliations, SOX controls, and documentation for inventory accounts.
• Review excess and obsolescence reserves, oversee consignment inventory confirmation, and support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Service, IT, and other departments to maintain clean inventory records.
• Participate in business‑process documentation, internal‑control validation, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Accounting degree.
• At least 5 years of post‑graduate accounting experience, preferably with inventory focus.
• Experience working in an international environment.
