Internal Audit Manager – Europe

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead audit activities across our European production sites. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit Europe, you will evaluate internal controls, risk management, financial reporting (J‑SOX) and regulatory compliance for Chemviron N.V., part of the Kuraray Group.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and oversee the full audit cycle for European entities, including risk assessment, fieldwork and reporting.
• Identify control deficiencies, recommend practical solutions and follow up on management action plans.
• Apply data‑analytics methodologies to enhance audit efficiency and assurance.
• Maintain audit documentation in the Group Audit Management System and produce audit reports.
• Stay current with European legal and regulatory changes and advise on necessary control adjustments.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and travel to sites (≈40‑50% of time).

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in internal audit or audit consultancy, preferably in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering or related field.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or in the process of certification.
• Strong knowledge of global internal audit standards and J‑SOX.
• Fluent English; French and additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with data‑analytics tools and techniques.
• Experience using SAP for audit purposes.
