Information Security Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an Information Security Coordinator to join our international IT Delivery team. In this role you will act as a security champion, driving the security roadmap and embedding cyber‑risk controls across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and coordinate the information security roadmap aligned with business priorities and the overall security strategy.
• Support security governance, policy, standards and control implementation.
• Identify, monitor and document cybersecurity risks; maintain risk registers and coordinate mitigation actions with stakeholders.
• Assist compliance initiatives for ISO standards, GDPR and NIS2.
• Lead security projects covering access management, vulnerability management, data protection and network security.
• Promote secure‑by‑design principles in IT projects and collaborate with IT Operations on patch compliance and vulnerability remediation.
• Support incident response, investigations and post‑incident activities.
• Develop and run security awareness programmes and track related performance indicators.
• Prepare regular security reports for IT management and senior leadership.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity or IT risk management.
• Proven experience coordinating security initiatives in a complex, international or multi‑entity environment.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Fluent English and proficiency in French and/or Dutch.
• Ability to translate security requirements into practical, business‑oriented solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable influencing without direct authority.
