Incoming Inspection Technician

About the role

Aerospacelab, a vertically integrated small satellite manufacturer and developer of earth observation services, is hiring an Incoming Inspection Technician within its Quality Assurance department in Belgium. The role covers quality control of products during procurement and production, metrology and documentation of quality activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute defined quality control activities during product procurement and production
• Support the definition of quality control points and processes
• Perform required metrology activities
• Document processes and keep accurate records of activities
• Support root cause investigations and define follow-up actions on non-conforming items
• Establish NC reports and process them in relation to the supply chain
• Support collection of lessons learned and process improvements

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance and/or quality control
• Good interpersonal, organisation and communication skills, able to work in a diverse team
• English communication proficiency
• Thoroughness
• Nice to have: prior experience in the space sector and in a cleanroom environment

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting technical schematics
• Knowledge of ECSS, ISO and/or IPC standards (nice to have)
• Nice to have: familiarity with Odoo and metrology tools
