Hotel Management Work & Study Programme

About the role

Motel One offers a Work & Study programme that combines a part-time job in a hotel with a virtual Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality Management (currently in the accreditation process, 7 semesters). The programme is designed for people who want to study, work in a hotel and take on responsibility, and it is open to applicants in Brussels.

Key responsibilities

• Part-time work (about 20-25 hours per week) at a European Motel One hotel, with appropriate compensation.
• Front Office & Reservations: check-in, guest communication and service quality.
• Breakfast & Bar: processes, standards and service organisation.
• Housekeeping & Quality Checks: cleanliness and cooperation with external partners.
• Revenue & Sales: pricing strategies and customer acquisition.
• Back Office & Administration: purchasing, figures and reports.
• Opportunity to complete a four-week international internship at one of the group's hotels across Europe.

Required profile

• University entrance qualification (A-levels, technical baccalaureate or vocational training certificate) including proof of three years of full-time professional experience.
• Strong English proficiency; the working language in the hotel is the local language, while the virtual studies are in English.
• Self-discipline, teamwork and resilience, and a positive attitude towards guests.
• Initial hotel experience or willingness to do a pre-study internship at Motel One.
