Head of DevOps

About the role

We are seeking a Head of DevOps to shape and execute the DevOps strategy for a global, technology‑driven organization. You will lead the design, deployment, and operation of highly available hybrid infrastructures that support mission‑critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive DevOps strategy across cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on‑premise environments.
• Oversee the architecture, deployment, and ongoing operations of Linux‑based hybrid infrastructures.
• Champion Infrastructure as Code, automation, and CI/CD using Terraform, Ansible, GitOps and related tools.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, security and observability through monitoring, logging and incident response.
• Collaborate with Security, Engineering and IT to align infrastructure with business needs.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and foster a DevOps culture across teams.
• Make decisions on containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) strategies.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in DevOps, Linux engineering, system administration or related infrastructure roles.
• Proven experience managing hybrid cloud‑on‑prem environments.
• Strong expertise with RHEL‑based Linux systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, containers, networking and distributed systems.
• Previous technical leadership or senior engineering experience.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
