HashiCorp Vault Security Consultant (Mid-Level)

About the role

As a HashiCorp Vault Security Consultant you will design and implement enterprise‑grade secrets management solutions for leading financial institutions. You will help strengthen the security posture of clients by centralising secrets, enforcing secure access controls, and automating credential lifecycles across modern infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and configure HashiCorp Vault platforms (high‑availability, security hardening, integrations).
• Integrate Vault with DevOps toolchains such as Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Enable development teams to consume secrets securely and eliminate hard‑coded credentials.
• Implement authentication methods, policies, and access controls.
• Automate secrets lifecycle tasks including rotation, dynamic credentials, and certificate issuance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security and development teams to embed DevSecOps practices.
• Continuously improve platform performance, security and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience with HashiCorp Vault or comparable secrets management solutions.
• Strong understanding of security architecture, authentication and access control concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
• Knowledge of PKI, encryption or certificate management is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluent English; French or Dutch is a plus.
