Graphic Designer – Global Communications (Contract)

About the role
The European External Action Service (EEAS) is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its Global Communications and Public Diplomacy Division (GII.GLOBAL.STRAT.2). The role supports the EU’s external communication strategy by creating visual content for campaigns, delegations, and internal communications.
Key responsibilities
- Design and produce graphics for digital and print communication materials aligned with EU branding.
- Develop visual assets for global and thematic policy campaigns.
- Support EU Delegations worldwide with tailored communication visuals.
- Collaborate with social media, web, and content teams to ensure consistent visual storytelling.
- Maintain and update visual guidelines and asset libraries.
Required profile
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
- Professional experience in creating visual content for public or diplomatic audiences.
- Strong understanding of EU values and ability to work in a multilingual, multicultural environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
